The storefront electricity check is a free Eatsy tool for shops in Taiwan: pick your store type, enter the kWh from one Taipower bill, and compare the progressive business tariff with the simplified two-tier and three-tier time-of-use tariffs month by month and for the year — plus what moving prep or cleaning out of the summer weekday peak (16:00–22:00) would save. Rates come from Taipower's published tariff tables; everything is calculated in your browser.
This sets which hours of the day your power use lands in. Pick the closest one; you can adjust it later.

Grab your most recent Taipower bill and enter the kWh for that billing period.
Look for “本期用電度數” (kWh used this period) on the bill, usually next to the amount.
Eatsy Booking helps restaurants reduce no-shows, auto-fill cancellations, and boost table turnover.
It depends on which hours your power lands in. On the simplified time-of-use tariff Saturdays, Sundays and designated off-peak days are off-peak all day, so weekend-heavy shops usually gain; a dinner-driven venue whose service sits inside the summer weekday peak of 16:00–22:00 can end up paying more. Run it against your own opening hours.
Taipower suggests small shops using roughly 1,600 to 4,800 kWh a month evaluate it — that is an advisory range, not an eligibility threshold. What matters more: once you switch you cannot change the billing method back for one year, and Taipower has to install an electronic meter.
For low-voltage accounts summer runs 1 June to 30 September. On the three-tier plan, summer weekdays are peak 16:00–22:00, half-peak 09:00–16:00 and 22:00–24:00, and off-peak 00:00–09:00; Saturdays, Sundays and designated off-peak days are off-peak all day. Outside summer there is no peak band at all, only half-peak and off-peak.
