Event signups
Take signups for your events — counted in people, not tables
Eatsy event signups turn a restaurant's events, classes and private buyouts into one online registration page: capacity is counted by headcount rather than tables, and when a session fills up guests can join a standby list that notifies the next person as soon as someone cancels. Signups get automatic SMS and email reminders, with an optional deposit. Usage-based from NT$3 per signup, no monthly fee and no lock-in.

For a wine dinner, a cooking class or a private buyout, what you need to know is how many seats are left, not how many tables. Eatsy runs event signups through the same back office as your bookings: capacity by headcount, a standby list when it fills, automatic reminders, and a deposit when you want one.
One event, from open to seated
Capacity by headcount
Set how many people a session takes; a party of two uses two seats. No converting guests into tables in your head.
Online signup page
One link to put on Instagram, LINE or your Google Business profile — guests pick the session, enter their party size and sign up themselves.
Standby when full
Once the seats are gone guests can join a standby list, and the next person is notified automatically as soon as someone cancels.
Automatic reminders (SMS/Email)
Reminders go out after signup and before the session — no confirming one guest at a time, and guests never add anything.
Deposits or full prepay
Classes and buyouts can take a deposit or the full amount up front, bringing down the cost of a last-minute no-show.
The signup list stays yours
Who signed up, how many, and how to reach them stays with you and travels with you — so your next event starts with a list.
How Eatsy event signups work
Step 1 of 4
Open a session
Set the time and how many people it takes, then share the signup link on your own channels.
Why event signups do not belong in a booking form
- The wrong unit oversells the room: a reservation holds a table, an event holds seats. Collect signups in a booking form and the headcount only disagrees with you on the night.
- Demand does not stop when it sells out: a standby list puts cancelled seats back on sale without you digging through messages.
- Event reminders land differently: signup to doors is often days apart, so an automatic reminder beats a phone call on the day.
- This event's list is the start of the next one: who turned up is the best list you have for the event after it.
- Cost follows signups: usage-based from NT$3 each, no monthly fee, no lock-in — a month with no events costs nothing.

Frequently asked questions
- How is event capacity counted?
- By headcount, not tables. You set how many people a session takes, each signup subtracts the party size entered, and once it is full signups close and standby opens. This is different from an ordinary reservation, which holds a table — mixing the two in one form is what oversells a session.
- Can guests still sign up once it is full?
- They can join a standby list. After the seats are gone a guest can still leave their details, and the next person on the list is notified automatically as soon as someone cancels. Standby is included in the usage-based price with no extra monthly fee.
- Can I charge a signup fee or take a deposit?
- Yes. Classes, wine dinners and private buyouts can take a deposit or the full amount up front, which brings down the cost of a last-minute no-show. With a deposit it is from NT$5 per signup.
- Are event signups and reservations two separate systems?
- One back office, two capacity models. Reservations work in tables and time slots; event signups work in people. Guest records and reminders live in the same place either way, so you do not buy a second tool to run one event.
- We are not a restaurant — can a solo studio or one-person business use this?
- Yes. Taking signups does not depend on what kind of venue you run: you set how many places a session has (counted by headcount), guests register online, standby opens when it fills, reminders go out by SMS and email, and you can take a deposit when you want one. A one-person studio, a dessert class or a tasting evening for fifteen or twenty people all run the same way. One thing to say plainly: our pages and guides are written around the daily work of independent restaurants, so the wording reads restaurant-first — that is the writing, not a limit in the product. Pricing is the same too: from NT$3 per signup, NT$5 with a deposit, no monthly fee and no lock-in.
- How is it priced?
- The same usage-based way as bookings: from NT$3 per signup, NT$5 with a deposit, no monthly fee and no lock-in. There is a 7-day trial with no card, and a month with no events costs nothing.
