What is Reserve with Google
Reserve with Google is a restaurant reservation entry point provided by Google. When a diner finds your restaurant on Google Search or Maps, a "Reserve" button appears. When they tap it, they are taken to your Eatsy reservation page to complete the booking — the reservation is still completed on Eatsy; Google only provides discovery and referral.
What this means for your restaurant
An additional channel for diners to discover you and book, with no extra work on your side.
All reservations, notifications, and table management continue to happen in the Eatsy back office, exactly as before.
Whether you appear on Google is your choice, and you can turn it on or off at any time.
How to opt out (stop appearing on Google reservations)
You can opt out using either of the methods below. We process opt-out requests within 5 business days:
Option 1: Email us (available anytime)
Send an email to info@eatsy.tech with the subject "Opt out of Google reservations" and include your restaurant name. Once we receive it, we will remove your restaurant from the Google reservations data.
Option 2: Turn it off in the back office
In your Eatsy back office restaurant settings, turn off the "Show on Google reservations" toggle. Once turned off, your restaurant is removed from the Google reservation entry point at the next data update.
Frequently asked questions
How long does opting out take to apply?
We process requests within 5 business days of receipt. The time it actually takes to disappear from Google also depends on Google's own data refresh frequency.
Does opting out affect my reservation features on Eatsy?
No. Opting out only stops your restaurant from appearing in Google's reservation entry point; all of your features in the Eatsy back office and on your existing reservation page are completely unaffected.
What if I want to rejoin later?
You can at any time. Turn the back-office toggle back on, or email info@eatsy.tech to let us know.
